As of April 2010 I will celebrate one year as Natalie’s client at New U Fitness. Throughout my 4 years of college at the University of Maryland, I attempted numerous nutrition plans and workout regimens, but nothing seemed to work. It wasn’t until a month before graduation that I began training with Natalie.The nutrition plan that she set up helped me to lose 6 lbs in the first two weeks!
Those instant results gave me the jumpstart that I needed to continue on with this life changingexperience. One of the major turning points for me came in July, only 4 short months after becoming a client, when I was measured from head to toe. The results were in and I lost a total of 7 ¼ inches all throughout my body. After hitting that milestone, I’ve only continued to succeed in all areas of my life.
I’ve become significantly stronger and improved my level of physical fitness both in and out of the gym. Natalie taught me countless weight lifting techniques. She impressed upon me how important it is to carry proper posture throughout the entire day and how it can severely impact the results that you get once you leave the gym. One achievement in the gym that I am most proud of is that I cancomplete 20 legitimate “non-knee” pushups. Outside of the gym I ran in a 4k and 10k race. My energy level has completed shifted and simple tasks like forgetting something out at the car orrunning back upstairs are no longer a nuisance for me.I not only enjoy exercising but I also look forward to really sweating and raising my heart rate almost every day of the week.
Natalie also taught me so much about nutrition and cooking that I never knew before. I can recall somany foods, drinks, and ingredients, that I always thought were healthy ones, when in reality therewere better choices that she recommended for me. I’ve learned to love many wholesome foods that I used to pass by at the grocery store. I dropped 2 dress sizes, but most importantly have gained a sense of self confidence that I never truly had before.
Over the past 12 months I have become a much happier, healthier, and active person and I definitely could not have done it without Natalie’s guidance and support. I learned and accomplished more than I ever thought I could about fitness, nutrition, and what the human body is truly capable of.
