Emily Although I have always been an athlete, I have also always loved food and easily fall into “lazy mode” from time-to-time.

Therefore I’ve occasionally been far from where I would want to be with my health and fitness goals. Playing sports kept me fit when I was younger, but as I got older and time became limited, I had to change that into running and hitting the gym on my own.  This usually consisted of 30 minutes of cardio, some sit-ups, and limited time on weights. Wanting to get more toned and fit, I tried to put a little effort with the weight machines in the gym, but this usually consisted of me playing around with a couple of machines, with no routine, and only doing a weight I was comfortable with.

Thankfully, my parents bought me 3 training sessions with Natalie for the New Year in 2007.  She showed me how to use the weight machines so I could get more use out of my workouts. These 3 sessions turned into many more, and I am still training with Natalie 2 years later. Not only has she shown me how to use the weight machines so I know how to effectively use them when I’m at the gym on my own, but she also pushes me to a point where I would never be able to go by myself.  I love the feeling I get a day or two after working out when I know exactly where my body got the workout, being extremely sore, sure-but in the best way possible!

Natalie has also worked with me to make a food plan that works for me, my weaknesses and my lifestyle.  When I get off track, she is right there to put me back on. I love the transition in my body and workouts since I’ve been working with her!
